History
Vicki Anderson, Director of the Portland Healing Rooms has served the Body of Christ for over 30 years
as a Pioneer Pastor, and Church Elder.
In 1995, Vicki's
husband Ron was diagnosed
with terminal cancer, which then propelled them into a Quest to find
Healing. With great diligence, they sought to find the Provision for
Healing from the only Source deemed capable of Healing Ron - Christ The Lord.
Their exhaustive search of the Scriptures, Fervent Prayer, and in-depth study of
most New Testament Healing Ministries, along with assembling a massive and
impressive Library of books, tapes, and videos on the subject of Divine Healing
helped to establish them with a firm Biblical Foundation for Divine Healing
today.
Ron & Vicki went on to establish the Portland Healing
Rooms, a City-Wide Healing Ministry serving the City of Portland and
beyond. They painstakingly trained up a Quality ministry team comprised of
men and women from many different churches and various denominational
backgrounds from all over the City of Portland - yet all with the same vision -
to see sick and hurting people receive Divine Healing!
Though Ron went to
be with the Lord on September 12, 2001, his very life was given to the
development of the Portland Healing Rooms - right down to his last days and
ounces of energy. We are forever grateful to the Vision he cast upon the
City of Portland, and daily we are fulfilling that Vision.
Our heart is to
take the reality of the Healing Word to every one who
is in need of Christ The Healer, and to equip Healing Ministry Teams,
Churches, and whole Cities into the reality that God is by His very nature
a Healing God, and that He still Heals today - Jesus is the Same, Yesterday, Today, and Forever!!!
